Happy Mother's Day!!

This mother's day is our 1 year anniversary of being the Relief Society presidency for the 5th ward.  It has been a great learning experience and a year that we have truly loved. 

We want this day for you to know that we appreciate all you do as friends, as sisters, as neighbors, and as mothers.  You make a difference

Easter Activities

Celebrate Relief Society!

We all had such a great time at the RS Birthday party!!

The decorations were beautiful and just the touch of spring we needed!

We had so much fun visiting with each other!

We had fun playing games and winning prizes!!

The food was also DELICIOUS and we will be posting recipes soon!

Thanks so much to all who came and all who helped make the night possible!

General Conference Packets

It's that time of year again! I don't know about you but I get so excited for General Conference.

My kids enjoy it more (and pay better attention) now that I've discovered these "General Conference Packets" it helps them focus on what is going on and makes it more than just "church in PJs".

Visiting Teaching

As we become more experienced in our role as a Relief Society Presidency...we realize more and more how important Visiting Teaching is...and how valuable you are to us as Visiting Teachers. It's not about number and checking off a task, it is about loving each other and developing friendships.

We echo these words of Sister Barbra Thompson 2nd Counselor in the General R.S. Presidency

"The beauty of visiting teaching is not to see 100 percent on the monthly report; the beauty of visiting teaching is seeing lives changed, tears wiped away, testimonies growing, people loved, families strengthened, people cheered, the hungry fed, the sick visited, and those who are mourning comforted." click here to read her full message
